From the start and thanks to our partnership with leading companies
in the international leasing market, such as Greville Containers
do Brazil (Santos, Brazil), Almar Container Investments (Durban,
South Africa) and Maritrade S.A: (Geneva, Switzerland), MultiContainer
has developed and implemented the “One way” leasing
system (from point to point) in Mercosur.
This strategic alliance allows MultiContainer to offer containers
(for leasing or sale) at the main world ports and even at very distant
sites.
LEASING
The “One way” leasing allows shippers and freight forwarders
to make an efficient use of their financial and human resources.
Some of the advantages provided by this rental mode are that it:
- eliminates significant costs from repositioning of empty containers.
- reduces repair costs when containers arrive at destination, since
we provide insurance. (“Damage Protection Plan”).
These advantages turn into true economic benefits. In many cases,
they account for that difference that enables exporters to place
their goods in highly competitive markets.
We also offer “round trip” and long term leasing.
SALES
Thanks to the above-mentioned association, MultiContainer is capable
of offering containers at the main sites around the world.
For instance, if a multinational constructing company needs a container
for its work in Dubai, or if freight forwarders require containers
for their clients with a project cargo in India, at MultiContainer
we are capable of meeting their needs through our network.
BUYBACK
MultiContainer is also capable of buying back at destination the
containers used for a project work.
If, for instance, we take the container purchased by the freight
forwarder for his client in India and it is intended for work in
Chile, Uruguay or South Africa (just as examples), MultiContainer
could buy these containers back once that work has been completed.
