Multicontainer
was founded in 1999 with the objective of leasing and selling
maritime containers both in the domestic (local and regional)
market and in the international market.
Our company
believes it is very important to state that, although the
product is always the same one (ISO maritime containers); its
use varies according to the market thet it is used in.
In the domestic
market (local and regional), the Standard (dry) container is used
both for static storage and for other purposes, such as offices,
workshops, living modules or dressing rooms. Containers are refurbished
and prepared to serve as modules adapted to meet each customer’s
specific needs and requirements. For that purpose, Multicontainer
has always had the advice and technical coaching of Arch. María

Reefers (refrigerated containers) are commonly used by customers
requiring static storage for perishable goods. They may either
replace or complement cold storage rooms. (For further information
see the Reefers Section).
In the international market, Multicontainer provides containers
to the maritime industry (freight forwarders, shippers, logistics
operators, exporters and importers, customs brokers) for transportation
of general and refrigerated cargo. We supply containers globally,
this is possible through Multicontainer’s association with three
partner companies that are leaders worldwide: Greville Containers
do Brasil (located in Santos, Brazil); Almar Container Investments
(Durban, South Africa) and Maritrade (Geneva, Switzerland). This
partnership puts us in the forefront in anything concerning maritime
information and it enables us to provide a global service. Our
main service in this field is one-way leasing, a system that allows
the user to take the goods to any specific port without having
to return the container empty to another destination; this alleviates
costs and avoids logistics problems. (For further information
